Can Christians lose their salvation?

God has chosen those who would place their faith in Christ before the world was created. God will completes the work He starts in believers. He justifies and glorifies those He has chosen. The sovereign will of God can't be undone, while at the same time holding humanity responsible for their actions.
Ephesians 1:4
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
Philippians 1:6
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit. This is a deposit that guarantees our inheritance.
Ephesians 1:13
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise
Are we free?
Talk to anyone and ask them if they feel free. 100% will say yes. You can argue that I am speaking from my blessed American perspective. This is true. Unlike Reverend Jeremiah Wright, I believe God has blessed America. Video - Reverend Wright Defends His Remarks. Make no mistake, if you are a pastor who supports the slaughter of the unborn, a platform of the Democrat Party; you are fooling yourself and need to repent. We are not puppets on strings as proven by our stubborn bent toward sin. Any good that comes from us is by God's grace.
Romans 8:29-30
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
In a spiritual sense we are prisoners to our freewill because we inherently don’t choose the things of God. That is where our freedom has gotten us. We all deserve hell. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This is why we pray for the Holy Spirit to change people’s hearts. We understand God is in control.
Romans 3:11-12
There is no one who understands, There is no one who seeks out God; 12 They have all turned aside, together they have become [a]corrupt; There is no one who does good, There is not even one
Certainly, a person with a “said faith”can reject God and walk away because he was never born again to begin with. This includes those who appear to have spiritual gifts and are the most visible to mainstream society; those who want what is on the master’s table rather than a relationship with the Master.
Matthew 7:22
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
Hebrews 6:4-6
so that your charitable giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 5 “And when you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they will be seen by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6 But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
Hebrews 10:26-29
For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has ignored the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Peter builds on this understanding (1 Pet 2:24).
