Cyberspace

So when the phrase "all the world" is used in the bible it refers to the inhabited locations at that time.  Cyberspace is a mission field literally to ends of earth. The Gospel message continues to be spread around the world by the feet of missionaries and through the internet.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The two interpretations of the words "all the world"

1) The known world at that time (certainly not America)

2) All nations around a future established globe

The following texts fall into interpretation #1. Does Matthew 24:14 have a second interpretation based on a presupposition?

Colossians 1:23

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

Romans 1:8

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.

Peter builds on this understanding (1 Pet 2:24).
