What do Agnostics believe?
Agnostics believe that you cannot know for sure if there is a God, but would never presume to say there is no
God; unlike atheists who say there is no God. [1] Billy Graham’s close friend, Charles Templeton once spoke powerfully to crowds in vast arenas and called for people to commit themselves to Christ. He founded a 1,200 seat church and American Magazine said he, “set a new standard for evangelism.” But eventually doubt set in for Templeton, as he wrestled in his mind with the problem of pain and suffering in the world. He reasoned, “There couldn’t possibly be a loving God” and He abandoned the Christian faith. Templeton as an agnostic, was asked what he thought about Jesus. He said, “Jesus was the greatest human being that ever lived. He was a moral genius. His ethical sense was unique. He was the wisest person that I have ever encountered in my life or in my readings. His commitment was total and led to his own death. He’s the most important thing in my life. Everything good I know, everything pure I know, everything decent I know, I learned from Jesus.” Tears flooded down his face. “I miss Him.” [1]

2 Timothy 4:2-5
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Peter builds on this understanding (1 Pet 2:24).
