Is Abortion Murder ?
The Sovereign God of the universe created us. Life is given personhood in the womb from the moment of conception. The fact that government has legalized abortion doesn't make it right. Slavery was once legal. Christians should be on the front lines calling out this evil and support leaders who are pro life with the end goal of making abortion illegal. What is a common response by the Pro Choice Movement? "If you make abortion illegal, women will still get abortions in back allies or by some other means ." This is a non-argument. Murder is illegal, yet there are still people committing murder. Slavery is illegal, yet there is still slavery in the form of sex trafficking.

Psalm 139:13-16
For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.

Depths of the earth is figurative of being inside the the womb. God providentially watches over the development of human life that He personally designed as a gift to us.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) states: [1] "We know that God killed millions of unborn children and their pregnant mothers-to-be in the Noachian deluge, the conquest of Canaan, the incineration of Sodom and Gomorrah and in 20 major slaughters described in the bible. The critical feature of these horrific events is that all people were exterminated. Whenever entire communities were massacred, we can be sure that pregnant mothers-to-be and their unborn children were among the victims. Moreover, there are no stated exemptions for this specific segment of the population. It can be concluded from this ghastly program of human annihilation that the God of the bible is the greatest mass murderer in history and that he does not care about unborn children or living children or living adults. If God really opposes abortion, why didn't he just say so? Why didn't he authorize one of his trusted spokesmen—Moses, Jesus or Paul—to issue a definitive statement on the subject? Jesus did not express any special concern for unborn children during the anticipated end times." [1]
There was a musician who spent weeks in the recording studio creating music. An outsider came into the studio and deleted all of his recorded tracks. We can agree that the outsider did something wrong. On the other hand, we also understand that if the musician was displeased with what He created, He has the right to delete the tracks. God is the Creator. He can do as He wills with His creation. Little "gods" in an abortion clinic don't have this right. When you don't worship the one true God, you become your own "god".
"You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13) was given to humans for their horizontal relationship to live in peace.
If we apply this vertically and accuse God of murder we have been mistaken. When God steps into time and takes life, it is not murder. All of his judgments are righteous.

Job 1:21-22
He said, “I was born naked. And I’ll leave here naked. The Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away. May the name of the Lord be praised.” In spite of everything, Job didn’t sin by blaming God for doing anything wrong.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Deuteronomy 30:15-18
Today I’m giving you a choice. You can have life and success. Or you can have death and harm. I’m commanding you today to love the Lord your God. I’m commanding you to live exactly as he wants you to live. You must obey his commands, rules and laws. Then you will live. There will be many of you. The Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to take as your own. Don’t let your hearts turn away from the Lord. Instead, obey him. Don’t let yourselves be drawn away to other gods. And don’t bow down to them and worship them. If you do, I announce to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed.
The Sovereign God of the universe make the rules. Jesus echos this same truth.

Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who does not believe in the Son will not have life. God’s anger remains on them.”

Why would God kill innocent babies for pharaoh’s disobedience?
According to the doctrine of original sin, babies aren’t innocent. But at the same time, they are not accountable to God until they reach an age of understanding. [2] Now let’s paint a picture of original sin. Babies are so cute. It’s hard to believe they even have a sin nature. Imagine a baby in your arms. You are wearing a delicate gold watch. The baby grabs your watch but you quickly move his hand away and say, “no.” This happens over and over again. Each time the baby reaches he gets more frustrated and angry. Now the baby is screaming at the top of his lungs in hatred. With the understanding that the baby has, if he could be instantly transformed into a full grown man, he would grab a club, bludgeon you to death and rip the watch off your wrist. That’s original sin. [2]
[3] There once was a bear who got caught in a trap. Out of sympathy, a hunter wanted to liberate the bear. He tried to win the bear’s confidence, but wasn’t successful. So finally he had to shoot the bear full of drugs. The bear thinks this is an attack. He thinks the man is trying to kill him, when actually this was an act of compassion. Then, in order to get the bear out of the trap, the man has to push him further into the trap to release the tension of the spring. If the bear were semiconscious at this time, he would think the man was causing him suffering and pain. The bear would be wrong. He reaches this incorrect conclusion because he is not human. [3]
We reach incorrect conclusions with God because we are not God. In the beginning The Father, Son and Holy Spirit created the heavens and the earth. The Son became flesh and spoke face to face to the human race. What did he say about children?

Matthew 18:3-6
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”
Consider Egyptian babies that God killed. Had they grown up rejecting God they would spend eternity in Hell.
Consider David's baby. When King David lost his baby son, he knew that someday he would see him in heaven.

2 Samuel 12:22-23
And he said, “While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, “Who can tell whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”
